Business Seminar Series

Applying Brain Research to Business

“Think About It”
A DYNAMIC SEMINAR SERIES designed to bring 30 years of the neuroscience of learning and performance to the workplace.
The seminar topics are presented on a rotating schedule. Please inquire about the current topic of the month:

The Three D’s: Defiant, Difficult, and Destructive
A socially toxic environment can be devastating to an organization. Dealing with difficult individuals with questionable
agendas requires knowledge of the basics of human behavior, including the key “drivers” that motivate
individuals.

The Three E’s: Environment, Efficiency and Effectiveness
The human body responds to the environment in very predictable ways. Sensory input can be enabling or disabling, focusing or de-focusing. Your surroundingsset the stage for the business at hand.

The Three C’s: Change, Challenge and Choice
While change routinely comes at us from external sources, personal transition occurs internally as individuals adjust to the external changes. Resistance is lessened when the external and internal are explicitly understood and addressed.

The Three M’s: Meetings, Mindfulness and Motivation
Engagement, ‘FLOW’, active participation, productivity and personal connection can be achieved when intention
reflects the brain research.

The Three P’s: Personality, Position and Performance
In order for individuals to do their “best” work, careful consideration of temperament and intelligence strengths
saves frustration and confusion, and infuses individuals with a sense that their talents and abilities are recognized
and put to good use.
